created Passamaneria Riva Sergio in
1962, after being active and highly
appreciated in their trade for years.
Graziella, in particular, can rely
on a family tradition of braiding
making on hand looms which dates back
to the beginning of the 20th century.
The company has always promoted and
supported an international approach
and has been present on the major
foreign markets, as well as on the
Italian market, since the 1970s. |

40 years of activity, the firm has
made a strategically vital choice
to be competitive in the age of globalization.
Both the production processes and
the achieved know how have been transferred
to China, where Montanara Trimming
Co. Ltd has been founded in full respect
of local laws and, most importantly,
of the ethics of work. The same enterprising
attitude has allowed the creation
of Riva Sergio 1962.com in 2003, which
takes care of design, evolution and
distribution of the trimming goods
manufactured in China. Thanks to the
Italian style and design, combined
with the highly competitive Chinese
resources, both quality and accuracy
in the manufacture of the products
are guaranteed. |
 As
a result of the new flexibility
in the commercial structure, Riva
Sergio 1962.com is now an exclusive
trimming manufacturer who is able
to offer customers - mainly distributors
- high quality products at extremely
competitive prices. The selection
of products offered is wide, ranging
from classic collections of matching
items with tasselled fringes, braids,
cords, tie-backs, key-tassels etc.,
to the most delicate and prestigious
hand-loom made trimmings. Special
attention is accorded to items created
on specific requests from the customers,
with regards to both patterns and
